Inclusive Science Community and Collaboration
AGU fosters a more inclusive scientific community through affinity groups that bring scientists together around shared identities and experiences, and through partnerships with organizations working toward the same goals of ethics, diversity, and inclusion in science.

Find Your Community

AGU's affinity groups connect Earth and space scientists with shared identities, backgrounds, and areas of focus. Whether you are looking for networking, mentorship, or professional support from people who share your experiences, these communities offer a dedicated space to belong and thrive within the broader AGU membership.

Indigenous Task Force
The Indigenous Action Task Force works to support and elevate Indigenous research related to the Earth System, to welcome Indigenous scientists and their work into AGU, and to respectfully welcome Indigenous Knowledges and Knowledge Systems into AGU discourse without appropriation.
Inclusive Science Dashboard
AGU is committed to broadening who can begin and build a career in science, and who can access the resources, findings, and tools that the scientific process produces. We track several metrics to identify what we've learned and what steps we can take next.
