Helping first-generation students attend the Annual Meeting

The Space Physics & Aeronomy First-Generation Scholarship is a new opportunity to support undergraduate students with interests in the Earth and space sciences by providing them with financial support to attend AGU’s annual meeting. This scholarship will be made annually in memory of Delia E. Donatelli.

The Fund celebrates the memory of Delia Donatelli, a long-time member of AGU, by providing scholarships each year to support first-generation U.S. citizens who are undergraduate students with travel and attendance at AGU’s Annual Meeting. Through participation at AGU’s meeting, these students will be encouraged in continued pursuit of education and career opportunities in the Earth and space sciences.

The first scholarship will be awarded once the award is fully funded.
