AbSciCon brings the astrobiology community together every two years to share research, collaborate and plan for the future.

AGU22 centered on the theme “Science Leads the Future”, bringing together a global community to advance scientific discovery and solutions. It convened in Chicago, IL, and online, 12–16 December 2022.

AGU21 operated as a hybrid meeting under the theme “Science is Society”. It united in-person and virtual participants in New Orleans, LA, 13–17 December 2021.

AGU20 was held almost entirely virtually (December 1–17) under the theme “Shaping the Future of Science”, adapting to global constraints while maintaining broad global participation.

Fall Meeting 2019 was held 9–13 December 2019 in San Francisco to celebrate “the Past and Inspire the Future” during our Centennial meeting and brought together a diverse community of Earth and space scientists.

Nearly 100 scientists working in disciplines ranging from atmospheric and marine chemistry, paleoclimatology, paleoceanography, and paleoclimate model-data comparison to archaeology attended a weeklong Chapman Conference on abrupt climate change.

Under the majestic gaze of the Eiger north face in Switzerland, an international group of researchers met as part of a Chapman Conference to discuss advances in Lagrangian modeling of the atmosphere.

This conference aimed to bring together scientists to review and discuss the current status of research on Alfvén waves in space plasmas, including the solar atmosphere, the solar wind, planetary magnetospheres and ionospheres, and laboratory plasmas (if relevant to space plasmas).
