Under certain circumstances, membership exceptions may be requested for first or invited authors. If the submitting author is: Not a current AGU member, but A member of an affiliated society/organization, or A non-geoscientist, You may complete a waiver request form by Wednesday, 17 July 2025.
Best Practices Before Contacting Support
To set yourself and your abstract up for success, be sure to prepare your abstract offline first (e.g., in Word or Google Docs). When logging in, double-check that you’re logged into the correct AGU account. If you're having trouble logging in, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. Finally, make sure to join AGU or renew your membership and submit well ahead of the Wednesday, 30 July deadline to avoid last-minute stress.
