Dr. Hanqin Tian, Director and Institute Professor at Boston College’s Center for Earth System Science and Global Sustainability, is a leading scholar on global biogeochemical cycles and greenhouse gas fluxes. He has authored over 420 peer-reviewed papers and ranks among the top 1% of Highly Cited Researchers worldwide (Clarivate) and one of the world’s most influential climate scientists (Reuters). Dr. Tian is elected Fellow of AGU, ESA, and AAAS and an Andrew Carnegie Fellow (“Brainy Award”).
