Louis Moresi is Professor of Geophysics at the Australian National University, working where geodynamics meets research software engineering. He originated the open-source CITCOM and Underworld codes for modelling the Earth's interior, and has argued for open, reproducible computation since the 1990s. He co-directs the NSF-funded Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics and chairs NASA's Science Explorer (SciX) advisory board. Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and of AGU.
