Nicolas Gruber
Professor, ETH Zurich Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich
Dr. Gruber received his Ph.D. in 1997 from the University of Bern. After three years as a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University, he joined UCLA in 2000 as an assistant professor, receiving tenure in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed as full professor at ETH Zurich, where he is currently heading the Environmental Physics Group. Dr. Gruber has written over 230 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to IPCC, and co-authored with Jorge Sarmiento the textbook "Ocean Biogeochemical Dynamics".
