Judith is a researcher in the Department of Water and Climate Risk at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) - VU Amsterdam. She holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from TU Delft and a PhD focused on probabilistic modelling of multi-hazard events, funded by Horizon 2020 MYRIAD-EU. She developed MYRIAD-HESA, VineCopulas, and MYRIAD-SIM, and chaired the Early Career Researcher Board, representing early-career researchers in the project’s management team.
