Edgar Virgüez is a Research Engineer in the Department of Energy Science & Engineering at Stanford University, where he advances net-zero emissions energy systems at the intersection of technology, policy, and sustainability. His research has produced more than 20 papers with over 750 citations. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Policy and an M.A. in Energy and Environment from Duke University.
