Dr. Neelima Satyam Devarakonda is Institute Chair Professor of Civil Engineering at IIT Indore. Her research focuses on geotechnical engineering, seismic hazards, resilient infrastructure, and geohazard mitigation. She has 151+ journal publications, six patents, and ₹12 crore in research funding. She has received several honours, including the AGU Natural Hazards Mitigation Award (2025), INSA Associate Fellowship, and JSPS Bridge Fellowship.
