Researcher, National University of Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Frederic Bonou is a oceanographer and researcher dedicated to addressing critical issues in Earth and space sciences, particularly in developing nations. He serves as the Research Associate at the Benin and holds a PhD in Oceanography from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He is recognized for his significant contributions to climate science, focusing on the intersection of oceanography and climate change. IPCC Lead Author of Special Report Climate Change and Cities Chapter 5.
