Manish Shrivastava is a Project Manager and Staff Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. For 17 years, he has developed measurement-based SOA processes in 3D regional and global Earth System Models, and since 2020 has worked at the intersection of AI/ML and process-based models. He is a DOE Early Career awardee (h-index 42, 9,655 citations), AGU session convener, and incoming JAMES editor (Oct 2026).
