Gabriela Gongora-Svartzman is an Associate Teaching Professor and the Director of Computing Programs at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences - Miami campus. Before joining Northeastern University in 2025, Prof. Gongora-Svartzman was an Assistant Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. She was drawn to Northeastern for its commitment to attracting students of myriad backgrounds and perspectives, as well as its ethos of developing computing systems that improve life for communities.
