I study how agroecosystem respond to global environmental change and the consequent feedback. A central contribution of my work is advancing knowledge-guided machine learning (KGML) for agriculture by integrating crop modeling, remote sensing, and machine learning. This framework embeds scientific knowledge and process understanding into AI models to improve their interpretability, robustness, and out-of-sample predictions. I was a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award.
