I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, and the Founding Director of the Global Environmental Remote Sensing (GERS) Laboratory. I am the recipient of the 2021 UConn-AAUP Excellence Awards, the Web of Science Highly Cited Researchers (2020-2025), a member of the NASA Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 (HLS) Science Group, LP DAAC User Working Group, NASA Carbon Monitoring System (CMS) Science Team, and NASA Black Marble Science Team, etc.
