Peter Clift is an Anglo-Irish marine geologist and geophysicist specializing in the geology of Asia and the western Pacific. His research interests span the interaction of the solid Earth and atmosphere, especially via the Asian monsoon system. He is a specialist in sedimentary, provenance analysis. He is currently the Royal Society-Wolfson Fellow at University College London and a visiting scientist at Louisiana State University. Peter Clift grew up in Hertfordshire, UK.
