Application Package Requirements

A complete application package consists of the following:
Project Narrative

A project narrative with a statement of purpose, delineated research methods, and expected impact. The narrative should not exceed two pages.

Personal Statement

A personal statement that includes a description of why the applicant is pursuing the project and what they hope to accomplish as a result. The statement should not exceed one page.

CV and Transcripts

The applicant's current curriculum vitae and academic transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable); all transcripts should be uploaded as a single PDF file.

Letters of Recommendation

Two letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted by the applicant's faculty advisor. The letters should comment on the project and the applicant's qualification's to complete the work. The recommender should also speak to the applicant's academic standing. Each individual letter should not exceed two pages.

AGU reserves the right to reject, without review, applications that do not meet all eligibility requirements.

Application components must not exceed the defined page limitations. AGU will remove excess pages prior sharing with the review committee.
