As one of the elected leaders of your section, how will you partner with your president and president-elect to communicate with and engage your members to help implement AGU’s strategic plan including its mission and vision?

AGU leaders should promote measures for improving the community standards and best practices for open data, transparent peer-review, decision making policies of funding agencies, as well as dissemination of Earth science research to the wider public, with the goal to establish an inclusive scientific culture of mutual respect that fosters critical thinking and is valued and trusted upon by the general public and governments.
