I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Northern Illinois University. For my research I am using isotope geochemistry and modeling simulations to understand how ocean productivity and nutrient dynamics in the Southern Ocean changed during past warm events. Beyond my research, I am interested in transferring my knowledge to decision makers and contributing in shaping policies for a sustainable future. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking for my friends and reading history books.
