Holly Gibbs
Professor, University of Wisconsin Madison
Dr. Holly Gibbs is a professor at the UW-Madison where she studies how and why people use land around the world and what these changes mean for the future of our planet. She was trained as a physical scientist and focuses on interdisciplinary, applied questions around human-environment interactions, globalization, environment, and policy. Gibbs and her team have developed novel methods to map commodity supply chains in support of company and government actions to reduce tropical deforestation.
